That will probably be it for the beach this year, but I'm already missing it!

Beach
Back from a second weekend at the Beach! Last time it was the whole family - this time just me and the hubby. We went to Crush on Seaside for dinner and had some great sushi: Deadliest catch. Spent most of Saturday in the ocean - very seaweedy this time, though. Then Shane made dinner that evening - delicious! Filet and green beans and toasted rolls - mmmm!

Roswell
Beautiful weekend in Atlanta!
MB Green went 4-0 over the weekend. It was a great finale to the Spring season!

Wednesday, April 21
Matthew back in the game (Lacrosse) after the concussion last week. He played sparingly and as a midi, but was able to get 3 goals in! Final: Win 8-1
Game vs. Vestavia tonight - should be an easy win.
Not going to Memphis this weekend to the tournament (or the Gulfport tournament) - these tournaments have a lot of big tryout teams in them and we want to play it a little safe with Matthew's head and have him ready for the championships next week.
violin today - didn't get to practice as much as I would have liked to this week and skipped a piece, but still looking forward to it. I've decided NOT to play in the recital (maybe next time if JoAnne does it, too!).

Sunday
Great busy day today. Went to church first, of course, but had to take off early for Matt's lacrosse game (scrimmage) against Hoover (Berry) @ 11:30. we won 3-2 and Matt scored 2 of those 3 goals! He actually scored another as well, but it was after the whistle, so didn't count.
Then I ran home for a quick salad, then back to the church to meet up with Kari, Morgan, Ryan, and a couple of Kari's friends for some frisbee. After playing for a little bit, some other people showed up and they were part of an ultimate frisbee small group and asked if we wanted to join them. So we did and had a blast! Over 2 hours of running, catching and throwing - it was a great workout.
Headed to Kari's after that to check out the updates to her basement - looking good, Kari!
Then back home and played the violin for a bit and now watching Cloudy with a chance of Meatballs again - really good movie.

L.I.F.E. Retreat
This weekend, Shane and I were on the L.I.F.E. retreat @ Church of the Highlands. We led a L.I.F.E. group this semester and served at the retreat. It was FABULOUS!!!
This retreat gets better every year - we go through the same things, but God does a greater work in me every time. This semester I served with the Warfare Intercessors - a lot more toll on me than I expected, but there was a lot of prayer time and Satan was not taking a break. I had the privilege of praying with several participants at the end of the retreat as well.
There's nothing like it! Now we need to decide whether or not to lead another group this Spring. Fall is very busy for us, but Spring can get even busier with boys and sports. We'll see - we led 2 groups this semester, so I'm thinking it's time to be fed and just sign up for a group - wanting to do a Prayer Force group.

Christmas
Christmas is my favorite time of year! My house has been full of lights since before Thanksgiving. I'm usually way ahead on shopping, but this year we did it all on Sunday (well, most of it).
Missed my first Christmas party last night :( but there will be more to come. Next week I have 3 parties in one day - whew!

SEC Game
Chris Tomlin was GREAT last night! Not as many Christmas songs as I would have liked to hear, but a really good worship time.
Took a nice 5 mile walk this morning, shopping @ Sam's, lunch @ Newk's, and got the Christmas cards done and mailed out - productive day . . .
Really bummed about the SEC Championship game. Tebow is such a great guy and Alabama fans are so obnoxious!
Oh, well - life goes on. Not like I actually played or anything.
Tomorrow: church and shoes! (one can never have enough shoes . . . )
